It's too much of a hassle when you're supposed to relax. Majority of people who don't wear spectacles would feel uncomfortable with the foreign strain on the nose and ears.

only plasma tv produced good result at that time.
but i believe this tech will come back maybe in few years because people dont see benefit of 8k, else only VR is good viable option for those 3d content. |

the only time i ever got hyped with 3D in my own living room was when i was watching some disney concert show when i was a kid lol. i had that red/blue glasses thingy
it's stupid but as a kid anything goes. now is like curved screen 8k HDR 120Hz so you can see all the pores on Milla Jovovich's skin. |

My 55” 3D Tv is now in my bedroom. There wasn’t enough good movie that flex out what 3D can really do.
There is only a handful of movies that blow your mind, most of it CGI movies. |

3D movie is nice to watch. I like but sadly too many movies doesn't really utilize the effect properly. Mostly just tacked on the 3D effect just for the sake of having 3D.

I remember when we had 3d on our television channels.
It was in the late 90s or early 20s and you could buy these 3d glasses from sundry shops. They were the old red and blue ones. Not the clear lens 3d glasses you see in cinemas |

glad i bought 3d as well. despite not turning on the 3d function 99% of the time, it's a tv that consider unique and sekarang mau also cannot get. not that the feature is totally useless
