Question to all the LG OLED owners here:

I saw from a YouTube review that the LG CX HDMI 2.1 ports cannot handle the full 48Gbps bandwidth.

Do you think this has an impact on 4K 120hz gaming? I know I should wait until next year, but my current TV is just 1080p without HDR...idk if I can wait that long to upgrade lol

ok thanks i only need the headset for now as i am using home theater audio speaker for my games usually but this time i heard 3d audio only available in headset so thinking of getting the pulse 3d headset.

This is not true and I really do not like nor understand why this misconception started. 3D audio works with ANY headphone as long as you can connect it to the dualsense via 3.5mm unbalanced input. Those with balanced headphones, you gotta find a way to convert of which of course will degrade audio quality but that's a different topic.

The Pulse 3D (I bet the name is one of the reasons why people get confused) headset IS NOT mandatory to utilize 3D audio.

Also to add Mark Cerny already stated they are bringing the 3D audio to other sound systems like home theater using the Tempest Engine, just wasn't ready for launch.

FYI, a mildly disappointing news, but wouldn't matter for the time being as there are no native 4k 120hz games yet.
Unknown whether can be updated via firmware or is actually a hardware limitation.

tl;dw: At 32 Gbps means it can only output max 4K 120hz at 4:2:2 chroma i.e less color accuracy, but can still output 4K 60hz 4:4:4

So I doubt a lot of people would or should care about this at this point of time, unless it is confirmed to be a hardware limitation

Correction there , not accuracy but color information . This could have side effects ranging from loss of color texture [especially fonts] details , color bit depth information , color bandings between gradation of palette , also the potential incompatibility with Dolby Vision due to DV using 16bit pre-upscaled canvas .

However in this case Sony did not forsake DV for this reason , it was because they did not ***king pay Dolby .

Ah yes, you are correct, was posting in a hurry while trying to put in layman terms and that's the word that popped up. Thanks thumbsup.gif

4k 120fps will never happen on ps5 for high quality graphic games. at least i am not expecting this.

Even high end pc with 3080 barely hold 4k/60fps at ultra setting. 500usd console wanna expect 4k/120fps?

Mostly depends on developers’ optimization. Graphic/resolution/fps tuning.
*
True, but for sure there will be games that are less graphical demanding which can hit native 4k 120fps.

And for AAA games, DMC 5 is already offering a wider range of settings compared to previous gen for graphic(ray-trace)/resolution/fps, so I have hopes that future games will be further optimized to offer more setting options for players to choose. Some people may prefer 4k 120hz ultra low settings, who knows laugh.gif

Normally they use 2 controllers to swap using when battery depleted. I only have one and only ps4 pro’s DS4 controller for almost four years already.

if you play with rumble and the trigger on the cotroller last for 3-4hour only....if you off the function can last for 9hour+

i play 12hour game per day...so need 2 controller
*
I bought a 3 meter micro usb cable for RM30ish and only plug it in when needed while playing. A more cost effective solution if you're a hardcore single player gamer laugh.gif

3) “They don’t have enough unit what do u expect them to do?” Excuse me, they are not 3rd party reseller, they are the manufacturer and distributor. They claimed they over accepted preorder due to system glitch, yet they still continue to take preorder in store the next day while choosing to cancelled orders that were made before the in store orders, that just discriminate those who made the order earlier.
*
Again with this
1. Online pre-orders sold at 12ish am
2. For argument's sake, let's say the staff handling the system checks the preorders immediately
3. Staff realizes there has been a glitch in the system
4. Staff needs to escalate this immediate superior
5. Most likely even immediate superior doesn't have the authority to make decision, so escalate to big bosses
6. Big bosses discuss, decides to reduce allocations at Sony Centers

So my question to you is
1. According to your logic, this is what Sony should have done?
2. Do you really think they found out about the glitch immediately as soon as the preorders are sold out?
3. If yes, you want them to do all the above within 10hours (before stores preorder) in the middle of the night? Do you even work in corporate?
4. If the glitch accepted even more than the entire units distributed to all retailers, you want Sony to call up all those retailers and cancel any sort of physical preorders to cater for the glitch? Do you think there's no legal binding made between Sony and retailers when they allocated the stocks to them?

Already took order, fulfill the order in the order you accepted them. yawn.gif

Can't even comprehend the logic that allocations are separate and whatever affects one allocation doesn't affect others.
Don't even have the balls to say my scenario is what Sony should have done because you know how unreasonable that sounds.

Yep, as others have said, definitely a meltdown

Enough guys, Sony already fulfil his order and case is closed.

Shall we stay happy and keep the hype going until oncoming friday 😄

But Karen here still complaining even after getting his order back, so to him case not closed yet

And yes, won't continue anymore anyway. laugh.gif
