Haha i'm thinking of F-it and buy a 40in + tv and stuff it back a bit more on my current workstation..  take my millenium falcon display off the table and  put tv there.

What's happening is that you're switching from 60fps down to 30fps immediately, that is extremely jarring and you'd have to allow for your eyes and brains to re-adjust to the lower framerate over a period of time. Similarly, try booting up the game from 30fps first and play for an hour. Then immediately switch to 60, the fluidity would be much more apparent that it actually is.

This is an entirely normal phenomenon.
