I was contacted yesterday by Sony Customer Service via mail that my Pre-Order for PS5 Disc Version will be fulfilled. Previously they told me they could not fulfill my PO due to the system glitch. my PO was from Sony webstore at 12:03 AM
Anyone else received the good news? I noticed one or two persons with Digital Version POs getting this news last week but didn't hear from anyone who PO Disc Version and was cancelled.
Don't give up hope I guess.
there was a Mr. Lee here who was in the same situation like you. he po the disc version & also got the good news from sony.

So beware of the so-called 2nd batch scams
that live chat moron is just a drone repeating an answer that was given to him by his supervisor.
go walk in to sony store & tell them you want to register your interest to po ps5 & they will gladly do it for you.
once you register with them, they will give you priority over the people who go there to line up when 2nd batch po opens.
do you really want to wait for sony announcement 2nd batch & queue with the scalpers? your choice.

Good,now i wonder how is the status that the other guy went viral on Facebook PS Asia that complain Consumer Tribunal.Did he get back with preorder or cancelled straight away? He must be frustrated or maybe Regret now if he not getting his preorder.
i think because of that one guy who complained to consumer tribunal, sony malaysia suddenly u-turn & decided to fulfill all po made in their online store.
either that or SIE Asia gave more stock allocations to sony malaysia.
For those who will go collect their console on launch day 11th Dec later/ Do you guys plan straight unboxing there and straight away check for functionality using their TV ? Do they allow? And then if something wrong, immediately push/pressure them for 1-1 exchange? Or they will just said ask you to go back then collect a new one at later date? What you guys think?
if something wrong, they will just take it back & send it for repair.
there will be no exchange because playstation boss said there is no more ps5 stock until 2021.
I dont think so. All electronic products got spare in case of faulty units to exchange. Its to early for them to setup repair n service at this stage. Sony boss say sold out may not include those contingency stock.
google it & you can find gamers in the west with brick ps5 who cannot exchange for a new one on the spot. all they can do is send for repair or wait for restock.

Their warranty is good from a 3rd party perspective. They are big retailers, they will have their own inventories of spare parts for the electronics. Anyway if unable to repair most likely they will swap with another refurbished?, working unit etc. I don’t think in the beginning they will have big inventories for the PS5 but eventually it will be there.
On another note, I got my HK unit already at 10am yesterday and surprisingly FedEx was damn fast. Didn’t get taxed nor charged for the SIRIM shite. But surprisingly I wasn’t that excited like I was when POing, opened the box to see the disc drive was there and that was it. Haven’t set it up yet. I think the age is getting me. Another one MY unit is coming as well.
Btw got 2 games from Qisahn, Spider-Man Ultimate + Sackboy and surprisingly they too were fast.
so you are not excited about ps5 but you po 2 units anyway? why?
guys, apparently Sony is banning those who buy the service to claim PS plus collection without PS5. Ban period 2 ~ 3 months according to HK sony support.
this is not new. sony has been banning people who share accounts since the ps3 era already.
those cheapskates deserved to be ban if they can't even afford to buy games legally.
