You have to pay if you want to view it from PICC. however, there are rumours that they are plannign to block road access to areas that has a good free view of the show.

Funny thing on the ticket is that it states that no video or photography allowed. This is also hearsay though. Haha i dont have a printed ticket with me.

I see no reason to pay. It's in the sky. There's no way they can block viewing areas unless they fire it off behind a hill or something. The tix probably guarantee you a "great view" but I bet you can probably see it from almost anywhere in Putrajaya (the goverment centre, not the surrounding housing).

Kinda weird how they advertise it on billboards but never mention they're selling tickets.

Im travelling from Johor to attend. But not sure whether to go for the opening(Sat) or the Sunday one.

Friends of mine from LKW staying at CYBER have been scouting around for vantage points. But we are puzzled regarding the ticketing and how they plan to impose this. Fireworks will be visible from a distance and for photographers, you wouldn't want to be very near it or under it. This road closure issue is unsettling. And to add to my woes, AKONt@l will be performing that night as well(19th) and the whole place would be jam packed as the organisers for the AKONt@l concert mentioned the fireworks as one of the attractions for the concert.

Should anyone here who are cheap like me and not intenting to pay a single cent have any info or advice regarding this event, please do post here...

thaanks.....

Thats the thing...its like a sneaky plot... COME COME see Fireworks......in small print..at $$$ only.
Also with the concern going on and certain road closures its sure gonna be jam packed not to mention getting lost coz of the reroute of traffic. sigh... sad.gif

@evirober I haven't bought my tickets yet but i will probably get the one without the tickets, if I do buy it.

And I think you can't snap pictures inside of PICC which makes buying tickets a bit redundant.

Probably going for the final show.

@jeremy the schedule is posted above man..

@hellfire8888 well, it is a competition, and they do have to cover cost. Just that the competition is in the sky doesn't mean it has to be free..

More maps on where is restricted access:
