QUOTE(EuPhoBoy @ Feb 19 2021, 09:03 AM) Finally received my Mac Mini (base model) yesterday heh heh. Really blazing fast this thing. Just a thought, do you guys usually leave it plugged in to Sleep at night? Or would you turn off the switch? I know with Macbooks, itβs usually better to leave them to Sleep overnight but not sure with Mac Mini ππ
Sleep is fine. Don't leave plugged in. In fact, don't leave any devices with batteries plugged in. It will take a toll on your batteries.

QUOTE(carpathia @ Feb 22 2021, 08:29 PM) whats the diff between plugged in vs sleep ? Haha. Sorry. I didn't realize I was in the Mac Mini thread. I thought I was in the Mac Air thread. It's fine. You can leave it plugged in. Sleep vs Shutdown = just how fast you get back to work I guess

QUOTE(Mavik @ Feb 23 2021, 04:06 PM) No, only the MBA is mine. The rest belongs to the office (test unit to ensure that office applications are able to run on it). What is this testing nonsense. ALL OR NOTHING! YOLOOOOOOOO!

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 21 2021, 11:28 AM) yeah. wanted to buy M1 mac mini for daily usage but too bad i still rely on windows quite a bit. so i ended bought a similar price refurbished i3 mac mini 2018. haha. for daily usage. no choice. dun want to spend so much on a brand new intel mac mini also. no point, intel chip is as good as trash. except that it can run bootcamp windows natively. Run a hypervisor host and remote into it!
