Hi everyone, do you think 7-core GPU is fine while I only use for web-surfing + Microsoft Office?

I'm taking Macbook Air (base model), then upgrade to 16GB and 512GB SSD
It's a bit cheaper than Macbook Air (8-core GPU) with 16GB/512GB

when do you being charged after placed order on Apple website?

I placed my order (education price) when 13 Dec,
filled in my card detail,
But until now the status is still "Processing",
and my card still not yet being charged.
There is no email asking me to verify my student qualification too

May I know if I'm missing any step?

My order was supposed to arrive when 11/1/2021 - 18/1/2021
But Apple just shipped it today, ETA 7/1/2021
