The good problem with Macs is they last damn long. My 2014 Air is still going good. No excuses to get a new one yet!

Stopping the continuous sync on OneDrive almost always slows down the fan noise (unless I have tons of tabs open on Chrome). If you have any continuous sync apps to cloud, perhaps you can try pausing them to see if there's a change to your fan noise. |
