Search for Ugreen USB C dongle on either shopee/lazada mall.
*
seems like most of them comes with a cable. I need the one similar to anker but cheaper option.

Search again. Ugreen has the F shape dongle with 2 USB-C ports so you can just plug and play. Other than this i can only think of the dock style dongle. Min also you have to spend RM1xx. Its for long term. You buy cheapo one, it can also hard your peripheral's you're using with. Now got Cybermonday sale coming.

I don't think Microsoft release the M1 compatibility for Office yet. I believe it's using Rosetta which is why you're not getting the most outta it.

I think so too

Very good price IMO, what’s the condition like though? If its tip top/pristine then grab it smile.gif saved you 1k+ and you have 9 months warranty left..

Looking for this solution too. Any shop that sells the hub that directly attach to the 2 thunderbolt ports?

I use my MacBook on top of a laptop sleeve/stand by Moft. The current hub I have from baseus - the cable is not long enough and it will dangle the dongle (I got bars).
Attached Image

I can buy it off Shopee but I’m itching to just go out and get the hub at a computer store.

You just need the official receipt of purchase (for self record and tax purpose, also to know that he genuinely bought it from Apple and not from ABC.com)

Warranty is the same for education or retail/Apple store..to claim warranty for any possible manufacturer defect, just bring it to Apple authorized service center, present your serial number and make sure it’s not expired, don’t need to bring receipt.

Have been trying to update to 12.1 the whole of yesterday but its not showing up. Oddly my MB Pro had no issues updating. The thing just showed up immediately when I opened up my laptop. However for the MBA its just not appearing.

It will pop out randomly. Just keep checking. Mine now just waiting to restart. Waiting for the battery level to go low then only I'll update.

Some users are not seeing the macOS Monterey 12.1 update on M1 Macs [Update: Fix in the comments]

1.) Open System Preferences > Software Update. Confirm that no update is available, and leave the window open.
2.) Open Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor.
3.) Go to View > All Processes
4.) Search for 'com.apple.MobileSoftwareUpdate.UpdateBrainService' . Select it and click Force Quit.
5.) The 12.1 Update should appear in System Preferences. Click Update Now.
6.) The update may not download - force quit the com.apple.MobileSoftwareUpdate.UpdateBrainService again using Activity Monitor to start the download.

Wow the quality control of Apple seems to be slipping. This has never happened before in the last 15 years I have used Apple products.
