@diners, just install la. No worry. Surely vista can support 1Gb ram. Bootcamp basically is kinda "partition magic" which make a window partition for you to install xp/vista. Currently Bootcamp is free ,beta stage and no time limit. Beta means the product still for testing purpose, might be unstable, buggy which is not ready for the final product to be delivered.
