Finally calling it a day.

Last charge on Saturday morning at 2.30am. Its 11.14pm on a Sunday and still have around 9% left in the tank.

Not the longest SOT but it’s a pretty darn good achievement.

I think haptics is only for system controls and interactions. Keyboard haptics doesn’t seem to be available for iOS.

Okay want to rant abit.

Texted Switch FB to inquire about MagSafe Wallet, since my Apple Online order will take at least 1 month to deliver.

At 5.15pm they updated the Pyramid has stocks, I left office and reached by 6pm. Saw a line, probably for those queuing for second batch of iPhone.

I asked the staff if there’s stocks for the wallet, he said will check but never got back to me. There was no staff outside to managed the queue, now with CMCO and all.

But honestly, I felt that the queue system was horrible and Switch were so poor in managing the crowd flow in the store. Mind you, I’ve managed queues of hundreds and thousands for adidas Yeezy for both registration and launch, I am very well versed on queue management system.

After 45 mins, it was my turn to enter the store. I was told that the last remaining stock was ‘reserved’ by a customer.

Honestly, I flipped - Although it was a ‘professional’ flip, but imagine queuing for 45 mins and to be told that there’s no stock and it has been ‘reserved’ even when I asked and asked if there’s stock while I was queuing.

This is so poor from Switch, will never, I meant it - never buy from Switch again. Machines at least gave me an answer straight away, without me needing to queue to get an answer.

Poor management, poor customer service, poor team dynamic with no sense of customer experience at all. There was instance where I saw the staff bringing out the phone to ‘sell’ to the customer in the queue, which I thought was highly unprofessional and downright disgusting.

I used to buy from Switch frequently but lately they’ve been so bad, especially when it comes to stock updates / pre-orders.

Banned for good. Machines is not the best, but at least their staffs were well trained and never wasted customer’s time.

Trust your gut and follow it, Apple Online so far only earlier, never later - from what I have gathered.

So far the reviews are quite positive.

I don’t think that is the only reason why Apple Watch is better than Garmin’s fitness trackers / watches.

You can do so many other things with an Apple Watch from remote camera, ECG (self activated), Music Streaming without phones, set timer / alarm without even touching it (Siri), call on the go (LTE models) etc.

Its a lifestyle devices for most people vs Garmin which is purely an enthusiast target audience.

For me, I am still darn impressed with the battery life, I get more juice out of the 12PM vs 11PM - and god damn the camera is just next level. Haven’t gotten the time to shoot properly but a few random quick snaps also changed my perspective.

I remember calling all the retailers for stock, eventually found one and went straight to Digital Mall after work under the rain.

Smaller shops can reduce their margin to sell more, basically to drive frequency. If a retailer can discount until 799 (example), you can imagine the margin that they make per unit that they sell?

Exactly. Smaller businesses needs your support more than the bigger ones.

Probably will work but not too strong, has to be Magsafe certified - just in case your device falls off.

Speaking of Qualcomm, this is my 4G download speed at home.

Is this MFI certified?

If its not, its risky. Reason being Apple tends to update their devices so often that it often eliminates non-MFI accessories from the equation.

I once had a HardCiderLabs 3 in 1 Charger from Kickstarter and after a few updates, the Apple Watch module no longer charges - and also since its not MFI certified, it has taken a toll on my previous phone.

Now I only buy 1st party Apple chargers. Just in case.
