I need to feel the ‘temptation’ of the new version only will consider 🤣😜
Implementation of 5G network in Malaysia has been rescheduled to next year. 5G was supposed to be launched this year but delayed due to covid. UM already has 5G coverage in Berjaya Times Square building while Maxis is at Subang areas. BUt take note this is for testing by their own staff only as off now.
It wasn't a pre-order, only a ROI. Couldn't pre-order coz their system was "upgrading" and couldn't allow my wife's account to pre-order, and directed us to a ROI form instead. For maxis, a ROI is pretty much useless, might as well walk in.
Bro... I thought you are a Maxis One customer? No privileges?
Not my name bro, under my wife's account. I'm still tied to my 11 Pro Max contract. If it was my account id be calling their customer service and unloading a piece of my mind on them now. My wife is far more polite and reasonable. Yeah, I'm not mad at them about not having stock, that much is to be expected. But to call not once but twice and said they will arrange the stock only for us to get there and have nothing is a bit much.
Came close to buying the Nord when Lazada released the RM111 voucher towards the end of the night. IT would be R1488 after discount coz one seller was selling it at 1599. Then I got tempted by the 8T instead which would be 2388 after that voucher. Thought about it and then decided not to go ahead the end. Maybe time to start bertaubat and stick to iPhones
I didn't know about the Rm111 voucher. If not would surely have bought something.
Why not ? I do on all my phones to protect the camera lenses from scratches.

Hahaha, still researching. Actually I'm not a big fan of smart watches, prefer my old fashioned G-Shock where the battery lasts about 2 years or more before I have to worry about changing it
Not when you have to charge the blardee watch almost daily. Bother bother.

Hahaha... I like how he didn't flinch at all when posting "collect from Mac City".. He does realise people can buy directly from Mac City cheaper right? Times are bad, bro. Even scalpers need to earn some money.
A friend of mine posted this article on FB and shared the author's viewpoint that Malaysians are still spending money on "insanely expensive" iPhones despite the tough economy. I told him off privately - Not everyone is affected the same way by the pandemic, some businesses are booming, some are making more money now than compared to before the pandemic, hahaha. Point being as long as you know what you can afford and you spend within your means, then you should be fine.
Haha... that's the funny part. Even the scalpers from SG had a hard time getting rid of their SG stocks before Malaysian launch. This will teach these scalpers a good lesson this round.
For those who wonder how the IPhone 12 Pro Max's battery life is compared to the IPhone 11 Pro Max, the difference is only around 26 mins of SOT. Not that bad considering the Iphone 12 Pro Max has a slightly smaller capacity battery.
iPhone 11 Pro Max, 7 hrs 42 mins VS iPhone 12 Pro Max, 7 hrs 16 mins

Apple's MagSafe Duo Charger Unable to Charge iPhones at Full 15-Watt Power
Apple's upcoming MagSafe Duo Charger pairs a MagSafe iPhone charger with an Apple Watch charging puck, but as noted by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple has recently updated the product description to note that the MagSafe portion of the charger won't charge at the full 15 watts supported by the standalone MagSafe charger.
Neither the basic MagSafe Charger nor the MagSafe Duo Charger ships with a power adapter, with Apple noting that a 20-watt or greater USB-C adapter is recommended for the basic MagSafe Charger in order to deliver the maximum 15 watts of power supported by MagSafe. (The iPhone 12 mini can charge at a maximum of 12 watts over MagSafe, while all other iPhone 12 models support 15 watts.)
Apple initially recommended that the MagSafe Duo Charger also be used with a 20-watt adapter, leading some potential customers to wonder whether it would be able to deliver the full 15 watts of power to an iPhone while simultaneously charging an Apple Watch.
As it turns out, it won't. According to the updated product description, the MagSafe Duo Charger can only deliver 11 watts of power when paired with a 20-watt USB-C adapter, and 14 watts when paired with a 27-watt or higher USB-C adapter.
Recommended:
-20W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately) for faster wireless charging up to 11W -27W or higher USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately) for faster wireless charging up to 14W
Apple's MagSafe system continually regulates the charge being delivered to a connected iPhone based on heat and other factors, so even a regular MagSafe Charger generally won't deliver a constant 15 watts, but still, the fact that the MagSafe Duo Charger delivers lower peak power than that may be concerning to some potential customers.
It also probably has to do with the government’s state of finances, I think. They probably have to prioritise other spending due to the pandemic’s effect on the GDP. iPhone 15 rather So the next fella who says he won’t buy a phone that doesn’t have 5G now will get some friendly advice from us.
Woo-hoo... Can continue using my IPhone Xs Max for another 2 years. Money saved.

Cannot like that... they give free TV Nope, sticking with my Pacific Blue Yeah, watch this video last night. The whole video was just on the camera sensor stabilisation - for everything else, refer to the 12 Pro video. I liked that he took a subtle dig at Apple - finally Apple and innovation in the same sentence
I wonder when Apple is going to do the same? Give a free TV...... Wait a minute, they even skimped on the damn charger.
Everywhere bro, especially at maxis centres last weekend. I also queued almost two hours for mine.
Only at Maxis. Those poor souls were queuing up to collect their 'pre-ordered' units. Same issue with a friend of mine. Being given the runaround by Maxis on getting a Iphone 12 Pro Max but still wanted to contract with them. I ask him if there are no other telcos in Malaysia and he couldn't give me an answer to that. Some Malaysians sure love getting bullied even when spending their hard earned money.

its satire bro, apple tv+ is garbage
I know bro... but a lot here will despise you for your above statement.
Remember #Apple can do no wrong.
