So... confirmed the Qualcomm modem is WAAAAAAAAY FASTER!

Came from iPhone X and jumped to 12 Pro Max. I finished transferring at 12pm yesterday while charging. Battery was at 100% when I disconnected charging. Used the phone like crazy, but did not play any games, Just web browsing, social media, etc and the phone still had plenty to spare at 11pm. Pretty much a large step up from iPhone X.

My wife's phone finished transferring & charging around 1pm, and she did not use the phone much throughout the day due to work. When she came back at 8pm, battery was at 96%. So standby times if you're not a heavy user is also insane!

p/s the small charging you see throughout the day was me connecting it to my car USB for Apple Carplay. Each drive took no more than 10 minutes.

I got the case, very nice to see and hold. But I have better confidence if the phone is dropped in my Otterbox Symmetry

The case is very slim and shows off the iPhone really well

Pro tip here - this is what I did a few years back when we can’t preorder and only can order on launch day.

I am loving the new iPhone 12 and the Qualcomm chips. Even though it’s still LTE/4G, the mobile broadband speeds are definitely a huge step up then what I could achieve with iPhone X and Galaxy Note 9.

Not that I notice - Always received strong signal strength from my WiFi router. My house may be small though compared to yours

Reporting my first day of iPhone 12 Pro Max battery life. 5:40am to 9:42pm - 16 hours of weekend life, and I still had 26% battery left. I’m a very happy man.

Not sure about Perodua, but on Honda, you need to pair/add it from the car, while making sure the iPhone’s bluetooth is discoverable.

Reading the method online, did you set the myvi bluetooth for pairing mode by pressing the connect/bluetooth button 10-15 seconds and hear the beep?

Worse case scenario, you might be the first person here that needs to visit the Apple Repair Centre. There might be a loose connection for one of the mics.

Since you already tried enabling Siri / hey siri / voice dictation etc, it’s highly likely it’s a hardward problem

1. Connected to a strong WiFi signal strength will make the battery last longer compared to the phone using mobile data at night / anytime
2. Low mobile coverage signal also impacts battery life
3. Check background activity of apps - check what apps are using battery at night
