QUOTE(red1982 @ Nov 15 2020, 12:58 PM) have u guys tested using cable with apple 20 w .. seems like not 30 minutes caj using the power adapter . 30 min from 0 to 50%Not from 0% to 100%. Took me about 1,5 hours to charge it from 13% to 100% using 91w + usb C lightning cable. Should be same with 20w as well. |

QUOTE(giovanni @ Nov 15 2020, 02:14 PM) From some comments above, no.QUOTE(attw @ Nov 15 2020, 02:25 PM) Updated this morning. No issues so far. Battery life shorter + you need to spend $$ for E-simIs it worth paying additional for the cellular version? Hmm, maybe I’ll ask that at the AW thread instead Other than that, I'd say it's pretty okay. QUOTE(red1982 @ Nov 15 2020, 02:29 PM) It's fast enough for me. |

Basically your phone learns your charging habit and from 80% onwards, it will trickle charge the battery to 100% slowly. It helps to "prolong" battery life but there's no definitive proof yet. This post has been edited by chiahau: Nov 15 2020, 10:32 PM daimon liked this post

QUOTE(isildur88 @ Nov 16 2020, 08:28 AM) Don't bother. It might degrade the quality of the camera. QUOTE(mr08nobody @ Nov 16 2020, 08:44 AM) I went to machines yesterday, wanted to compare the apple and nomad leather cases. I ended up buying a watch instead of phone case. Really strong poison Good job! Which model?QUOTE(Carlo J @ Nov 16 2020, 08:48 AM) It definitely would.Just get a casing with a little more bump at the back to protect the lens. QUOTE(attw @ Nov 16 2020, 09:10 AM) Nope, never did for any of my previous iPhones over the years. Waiting for you to get yours too The Watch probably cost close to 10x the cost of the leather case |

QUOTE(attw @ Nov 16 2020, 10:34 AM) Hahaha, I also sell phones like cabbages so overall net spending not that much bro - equivalent to 10-15 packs of cigarettes a month Technically, T20 represents only 20% of Malaysian ma.Can't clear stock but selling more expensive than RRP, not sure if that is a successful strategy Yeah, exactly, it's a very small sample of the population that are in the queues.... Those who Q are likely a small subsection from that 20% lor I don't get why people are so upset about it anyways. As long as they can afford to pay, we just be happy for them lor. Not like them lining up for iPhones makes my wallet thinner |

QUOTE(dikae @ Nov 16 2020, 11:35 AM) Anyone know what’s this 1 year PICC screen protection about? I was told this warranties the iphone screen crack and they replace genuine/original displays from apple, even offer door step services..apparently they cover for other brands like Samsung/ Xiaomi and etc too... Disclaimer : With the new iphone 12, if repair with un-authorized parts, some things would not work well.https://m.facebook.com/satugadgetsubang/pos...1?locale2=ms_MY I guess this is too early to tell but I doubt those 3rd party outside can magically solve this problem for the foreseeable future. |

QUOTE(dikae @ Nov 16 2020, 11:50 AM) True that, that’s why I was skeptical about it but apparently it has quite some reputation around, it’s represented by quite many reputable retail shops etc, and they claim to use only original parts (apparently can check with apple/Samsung etc to verify).. hmmm That's before iPhone 12 no? Not sure, but I rather not risk it. I don't want a phone with non working face Id |

QUOTE(dikae @ Nov 16 2020, 11:55 AM) Hmm they have been around for a while I think, and they claimed even the latest iphone 12 series are being covered I honestly don't want to be the one who tries out such unfortunate repairs. Since my iPhone 3GS, never broken any screens b4 and don't plan to start now. |

QUOTE(kennt0312 @ Nov 16 2020, 12:50 PM) for those who owned iphone 12 pro max. how is the battery life? can it last for a day for normal usage? Definitely for me.Since I don't go out often nowadays. But I went out the entire Saturday since 12, I am left about with 30% at the end around 9~10 PM. That's with quite heavy usage as well. |

QUOTE(blusky_1993 @ Nov 16 2020, 04:23 PM) Guys, is it worth getting Machines Protection Plan? What’s stopping people from ruining their phones next year when the new ones come out just to get the new model as they discontinued the old model. Reimburse new set with you paying top up For example let’s say you got the MPP last year on iPhone 11 Pro and it was discontinued this year. Then you break it and claim for device replacement thus they have no choice but to reimburse with the new set. Then essentially people can get new phone each year by just paying 1k+ (MPP RM949 + device replacement fee RM349) Is there some catch I’m not getting here? And it might be a refurbished set, FYI. The MPP is so ridiculously overpriced, it cost almost the same to extend the warranty of my macbook 13 last year with apple care. |

I have a funny little bug with my clock widget.
Sometimes I went to sleep at night, when I check the clock widget, it stopped at somewhere instead of showing the actual time. It's okay once I reset the phone but it's a little annoying tbh. |
