Hi guys. I'm planning to buy a gaming laptop so that I can play games whenever I'm at home or outstation. I've identified several laptops that comes with RTX 2070 which are within my budget (<RM7000) but since NVIDIA has launched the desktop 3070, should I wait for the launch of the RTX 30 mobile series or just get the laptop now?

while there has been several exciting releases recently, such as RTX 3000, Ryzen 5000, etc just keep in mind laptops with those specs will probably come a lot later... maybe 5-6 months minimum. Even if the notebook version of RTX 3000 come out tomorrow, it would still be several months before laptop manufacturers start releasing laptops with the GPU. sonyfanzz liked this post
