I am beginning to wonder was it an deliberate act by the government that by not making quarantine compulsory upon those returning from a Red zone area, so that the virus is allowed to spread to West Malaysia in order for them to excersize more control over the population ?

Essential worker from red zone are also allowed to fly oversea. LoL.

Well according to WHO "There's no evidence of human-to-human transmission." So there you go, "Everyone now can fly."

What if some covid positive spit on the fuel pump handle ? Your scan might save ur life
*
Avoiding Covid infection is the key, not whether you're contacted by authorities after scanning QR code - and that's assuming you will be contacted, and assuming someone found out the covid +ve guy had spit on the pump. Even then, you'll need individual QR codes (one at the entrance when you go to pay at the cashier, and another one at the pump where you refuel).

What if a Covid +ve guy spits on lift buttons or toilet door handle or toilet flush handle/knob? Should we have QR code in each toilet booth and lift? What if he rubs his saliva tainted hand on the handrails of escalators? The list goes on.

We have to be proactive in avoiding Covid. If you think people will do stupid things like above to infect others, isn't it safer to sanitize our hands, avoid refuelling too often (or choose a less popular petrol station) and be aware of what we touch?

No offense meant, just presenting my point of view

tbh I expected QR codes on each pump. Even when going to the bank just for the atm need QR code at the separate entrance.

Just received the email reply from Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre. See attachment. It says MUST need to scan.

But wait! Check out their response to FMT's inquiry here - https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...filling-petrol/.

So again, back to square 1! bangwall.gif mad.gif
