Metallic color much shining especially reflected by light. Solid no. But becos of too shining it will look more obvious if got dirt on. Solid color faded faster than metallic.

Metallic colours are better looking vs solid colours, bland and uninteresting.

Solid means it is 1 tone color. Viewing angles will not change its color.

Metallic means there are fine metal particles inside that reflects light. Its function is mainly to make the base color look different at an angle and different light situations.

Both paint solid or metallic today are 2K already. Last time the big difference of metallic was only available in 2K and solid does not.

2K means mixing 2 parts of paint to get a final product to spray on. Usually epoxy, acrylic or urethane mix with an activator/ hardener. Then spray clear on it. The reason for 2K is wear resistance. Normal 1 K acrylic paint does not wear well.
