For this case, flying together but can be that close? I thought there is a minimum horizontal and vertical separation between two aircrafts, unless they are going to land somewhere over there together.

1 more thing... if you have gone through some clips on her instagram, you’d notice that they are pulling out a lot of maneuver using the helicopter (some look dangerous - to a layman of course).

tapi kalau free flying macam ni doubt so. Even when air force in combat maneuver they can get so close with one wing almost touching the other.

For Air Force doing stunts or combat maneuver, yes it is necessary and usually pre-planned and approved beforehand if it is for exercise over populous area. But for a civilian aircraft flying around, to do stunts or close flying maneuvers, it needs CAAM approval or something prior to flight no? Else, it is violating VFR.
