Hi all,

Was looking for a dough mixer and now comparing between Butterfly model bsm-4366 RM425 and Russell Taylor sm-1300 RM400 both 6.5Ltr. Appreciate if anyone can share their experience or point to review pages.

Plan to mix dough for bread and cake. So far only found comments they both are noisy, but this to me is relative. Bread makers can be noisy but only a short period.

my wife been using innofood products. u can consider innofood mixer too. the best part is the service:

1yr reverse charge service. they will come visit ur house to collect the faulty parts / items if anything is wrong within one year.
*must buy from official innofood store (lazada/shopee)

at least it gives me peace of mind within one year, coz my wife bought the biggest + heaviest oven & mixer from them.

That brand is very expensive, Innofood KT-7500 is at RM1350. Thank you for suggestion.

Do you have any video reviews?

don't have video reviews, as my wife the one using it & I'm not in Malaysia right now. u mentioned butterfly & russell taylor 6.5L, so u should compared with innofood 6.5L mixer too. they have kt609 which is 6.5L bro. don't compare with kt7500, as this model is 7.0L professional mixer & heavy duty one (suitable if u selling cake / cookies & using it a lot on a daily basis).

this is kt609 that u can compare with butterfly & russell taylor:

official store rm439 during 11.11
https://s.lazada.com.my/s.1JgfA

other seller rm379

so far comparison chart all have
flat mixer, dough hook, whisk. Not all support up to 1 kg dough. One normal bread loaf would take 300 to 500gm dough. Prices are FROM Shopee.

1. Innofood KT-7500 is at RM1350, dough up to 1kg dough.
7 ltr, 500 watt motor, 18kg, 11 speed, splash guard

2. Butterfly BSM-4366 at RM425. no info for dough weight
6.5 ltr, 1000 watt motor, 6.75kg, 5 speed, splash guard

3. Russell Taylors SM-1300 at RM459 up to 1kg flour, no dough weight info.
6.5 ltr, 1300 watt motor, no other details.

4. Innofood KT609 at RM429 up to 500gm up to 1kg flour, no dough weight info.
6.5 ltr, 1300 watt motor, 7.5kg, 6 speed

Looking forward to any other details. Hope to get some decisions to meet 11.11 offers

Wow... therapy session is it? it takes me to knead 20 mins but I have so many stuff want to do. And those machines do look good.

Kenwood, that's one name long time never heard. Looks like they have some 11.11 offer tonight. Interesting.

Very informative for people like me who haven't used these machines. Some look like monsters.

Found another stand mixer. If you recall, I am mainly looking at helping me to knead dough, and managing some things that would other wise take up lots of time for me.

Kenwood KM-636 at RM1349. dough weight 2.4kg
6.7 ltr, 900 watt motor, 9.1kg, variable speed (whatever that means), splash guard+spatula, body material die cast aluminium & plastic. Include slow speed attachments (have to buy separately). But its having reviews since year 2013, thats quite a long time ago and they still sell it?

Yes!! Its was really worth getting it.

Settled with Kenwood KM-636. Reason is the brand Kenwood, and it was on offer price.

Did have to send it in 2x to claim for some oil/grease leak. But I think the support people's kungfu on its usage is not powerful. Had to get help from Kenwood users in UK on how to work the machine.

Didn't choose Russell, because there were some negative comment on its support.

If there was a second choice, I would have gone for Butterfly. But there were too little reviews and comments to decide.

Thanks for asking.
