i would work on the painting, plaster ceiling, lightings and flooring. kalau dah ada basic furniture pakai je dulu, you wont know if you're really staying in that house long term or renting it out. would be a waste if you will eventually rent out with high end stuffs.

If u have existing housing loan in certain bank, u can apply renovation loan also

Got money buy big house, no money for reno. Means you can't afford the house.

20k should be enough for
basic renovation. Plaster ceiling and wiring probably take half of your money for that kind of house
