Actually what Beerus saw in his dream is Yamoshi. In Akira Toriyama's interview recently, he reveals that Yamoshi was both a true Legendary Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God before Goku.

I still think Vegeta blue is stronger than Goku blue. His pride which also his weakness can sometimes make him stronger than any saiyan
