We are already in 2020, not 2008. I know this forum was based an old board system but its time to upgrade it. 2 function that have been an annoyance for some time:

1. Search function sucks.

If I search for "Cyberpunk" in gamers hideout, the search result will include everything including stuff not related/in the search phrase O_o
Please update the codes.


2. New unread post in thread.

Whenever I see a thread getting a new post and clicked the link, instead of showing me the new post, the forum will show me the middle of the thread or sometime the 1st post. Please update the code. Other forums already have this function.

note:
-This is from viewing from the main page of the forum. If its in the sub-thread, you can straightaway click on the last page.
- more prevalent with thread with multiple pages.

Point one yes, sometime i search
Get some result unrelated
But i never mind for me, rarely use search

Point 2, i already open same thread about that
As i notice i will go to post that date on main page

So any link you tap on main page, it will go to that date post
If post is newer then that date, it will got to 1st post
Since there is no post before that date
And there is seem have limit for that
Eg if you now tap it will a link, after visit some post
Revisit same link it will go to last reply

Then you try surf long enough on lyn
Revisit same link on same thread
It will go to welcome back date post again

Hope you understand what i mean

Edit, i order need everytime go to last post,
You need keep log out, log in back, to let welcome back date and time are latest
