You wont have a problem if you use an HDTV. If you are using SDTV, the console will refuse to play that affected games even though your TV supports both NTSC and PAL. One more thing. PAL PS3 can play regionless NTSC movie DVDs but NTSC PS3 (except HK set fw>1.60) can not play regionless PAL movie DVDs even though on an HDTV setup.
