I remember Ho Weng Kee. They moved to Lot 10 and Chan Meng Kee took over the same shoplot. A lot of people thought they are the same. I guess that is why some people say the quality dropped but they never realise its two different shop and Ho Weng Kee was the better one. Chan Meng Kee was not popular when Ho Weng Kee was at SS2. They only become popular after Ho Weng Kee moved to Lot 10. Ho Weng Kee at Lot 10 drop standard alot.

I like Toong Kwoon Chye near Sun Complex and Plaza Lowyat. It is a now the 4th generation and still maintain their quality. Very old school type of restaurant and not many people heard of them unless you're boomer generation.

I also like the wanton mee at PJ New Town near UOB bank. The restaurant very crowded everyday and most of the other food in the restaurant is also very good too. Only warning is the lady boss of the wanton mee stall gives very bad customer service. The trick is never order from her but order from the Indon helpers.
