Hi,

I have a damaged Iphone SE 2020, cracked front glass and home button, as per pictures attached.

My question is how much can I sell the phone? The phone can still run as usual but the touch id/home button is not working anymore.

I have asked a repair shop and the technician said that because the home button is directly connected to the motherboard/A14 chip, the repair cost would be as if I'm buying a new phone.



I am looking to get rid of the phone as spare parts. Other accessories inside the box are untouched.

Bought in May 2020, damaged in August 2020. Bought through Celcom but did not opt the warranty (Bad decision on my part).

It was damaged by my kid when he threw a Monster Truck Hot Wheel afloat and the pointy part unfortunately fell directly on the screen/home button.

Anyway hope anyone can suggest the selling price or offer me to take the whole set.

if you are ever in Singapore(or any country with apple store), pop into their apple store or make an appointment with the genius bar to ask for repair cost.

Might cost you RM1k (just my guess).

but its definitely not the cost of a new phone.

I have asked official reseller in KL they are only willing to trade with a new set at Around 1.6k..

Any way I can contact the Apple Store in SG?

Maybe contact apple live chat or walk in those premium reseller like machines to ask for quotation.
