Been using Michelins for the longest time.

Happy with it for the simple reason that it is the best value relative to what you get in return.

3 out of 4 cars in my family are using Conti MC6. Seriously at this price, no complaints.

I purchased all tyres during Lazada mega sales. 11.11 is here, good deals.

Yep really satisfying and don't need other high end tires after all I just drive a normal car but I want to have a balance of sporty tires and good grip when turning or braking and this does the job easily. For wet conditions though I can't say that this is the best tires but as long you not speeding in wet conditions is good enough. These tires are not noisy for me though but depending how frequently you drive the car and also road conditions from day to day basis. Overall , the continental MC6 is a good tyre. If not , the best tires I've used from Continental 😋

PS4. Really great on wet. Tempted with a MC6 cz price factor, RM480 for 235/45/18, but saw plenty of people on FB said MC6 was great on dry only. Got Aquaplaning easily when heavy rain.

Continue PS4 back

No matter what you choose to get, do your own due diligence by asking /k or Lazada. Pricing is very transparent these days.

I becum waterfish once. Tayar puncit so I changed tyre near PLUS Hiway.
Changed two 175/65/14 CC6 tire for around RM180/pc (Myvi)

Come back KL realise my neighbourhood all-in-one service centre and tire shop charge around RM130 only, brand new stock. RM180 can upgrade to michelin XM2+.

Either kena tetak or their cost price memang high. I do think it's the latter because sales volume low = cost price high

PS4 is higher quality and is for fast speed, braking and good in the wet while MC6 is so-so and poor quality, noisy also. PS4 is one of the quietest sport tires compared to Pirelli and Firestone.

I converted from PS3 to PS4 3 years ago and quality is still good..compared to CC6 that I'm using now for a year as it came with my HRV which I hope to change to PS4 SUV for better grip in corners and wet, as well as softness/quiet.

Continental in MY is lousy, maybe better in Europe as local quality sucks just like Bridgestone, goodyear and Toyo (nearly killed me)

Online memang dif pricing than walk in.

180 is on the high price, but still within the typical range for brick and mortar shop.

Cheapest I ever get it before is bout 110 each bijik, and further discount with lazada codes.

if u pancit, u really don't have much choice
RM180 i wouldn't say waterfish, more toward high side

FYI, conti CC6 cost RM180 cheapest in sabah...i've search many shop only to find this price in sabah doh.gif

and i cannot get michelin tyres here no matter how good it is because it's extremely expensive here in sabah

continental in MY i would say better than alot of tyres out there
it's basically german mold but uses malaysian rubber as people know our rubber is world famous
made here sold here, that's why can get cheap price
if import, it wouldn't at that price range already

ps4 is on another level. I use ps4 for few years already. best tyre ever.

QUOTE(pgsiemkia @ Nov 3 2020, 05:04 PM)
PS4 is higher quality and is for fast speed, braking and good in the wet while MC6 is so-so and poor quality, noisy also. PS4 is one of the quietest sport tires compared to Pirelli and Firestone.

I converted from PS3 to PS4 3 years ago and quality is still good..compared to CC6 that I'm using now for a year as it came with my HRV which I hope to change to PS4 SUV for better grip in corners and wet, as well as softness/quiet.

Continental in MY is lousy, maybe better in Europe as local quality sucks just like Bridgestone, goodyear and Toyo (nearly killed me)

u simply cant put continental same low as bridgestone and goodyear. Toyo I cant comment as never use.

conti even lower variant, cc6 feel grippy over ecopia, gt3, nct5, excellence. goodyear and bridgestone lower tyre is crap to the max. grip no got, comfort no got. dunno what they aim with their low range. at least cc6 is wayyyy comfortable.

Online memang dif pricing than walk in.

180 is on the high price, but still within the typical range for brick and mortar shop.

Cheapest I ever get it before is bout 110 each bijik, and further discount with lazada codes.

I always use online as a gauge only. Didn't actually bought online because they are located too far away from me.

Recently within these 3 months, I bought (175/65/14) CC6 for around RM130/pc and 4 pieces michelin XM2+ for RM175/pc. Funny thing is, this was their standard price and don't even need haggling. This was a very huge and reputable AIO tire and servicing shop around Sg. Long.

So yes, be a smart consumer, appreciate the price transparency, and compare prices. If you can accept as high as RM180 for the same thing that costs RM130 (mind you, there is no difference in the value you would get), would you still tolerate the same when it comes to a sum of 1.8k vs 1.3k? Principally, the % is the same

Get a price check at oscar kota Kemuning. Cheapest tyre shop i ever encountered in Selangor/kl even online not able to offer their price.

Alignment, balancing I go to my regular tyre shop

Michelin is famous for noise... but cilakak tires always peeling problem when left 20-30%.

Continental must buy CSC series... Conlanfirm Syoik Cornering series gives you cornering like no other tires in the same price bracket.

Gotta look at the tyre production date too..online selling cheap sometimes due to more than 6 months old tyre

Sometimes the surrounding area of you the tyre change, plays a factor too..

I once tried an online shop based at kepong... Gosh... So many nyamuk there, black and white one somemore, duno whether is aedes or not

And also need to see whether local or foreign workers lol
