from brief reading, you can connect CAT7 to "older" RJ45.
only problem is you wont get 10 Gbps if more than 60M. But kinda doubt you need that kind of speed  Once in future you need higher speed, then you can change the head/connector to GG45 to enable it to go up to 10 Gbps |
