Guys, need sm view. Want to get an ND filter. As i am a noob, decided to get a variable filter so that i can experience which nd filter is suitable for my use ( i mean a fixed non adjustable nd filter as in nd16 or nd 32 or .....)

Decided to get lower range which is K&f variable nd8 - nd128.
Wanted to walk in at KL and get it in person, just to avoid fake ones. Called two shops, they dnt have.

Lazada , shoppe looks like the only option, just hv to hope that it is not fake i guess !

Any advice or anywhr you guys know which is good place to buy these K&f ? I am looking for 82mm.

Trust me ND4 / ND8 is more than enough.

ND128?

How long of an exposure you plan to do? The numbers represent a certain stop of light reduction. So if you want the ND128 means you need your exposure calculations to be 7 stops darker. That's really dark.

All depends on what you plan to do. Look for charts of stops of light and you can get the idea of what shutter speed you'll be getting for each stop of light

People are looking for more light, you're looking to filter them out? The one you're looking for is quite rare since most say ND4-8 is more common, you are looking for ND8-128 - that must be quite niche.

You didn't mention your intention/purpose so most won't be able to advice much - looking at what you're looking for, I would suspect you're trying to shoot the sun/solar eclipse?

Buy Nisi or Haida. My history from lazada purchase this two brand is ori.

You need to check out why an ND filter is desired. I am sure when you do, yr reply will be different.

True, the better ones. Maybe should set my budget higher.

Thats the first place i checked. But it seems they dnt offer much of K&f, very few.

Some time in the future, you will thank me, as this will prompt you to research about ND filters.
