Foong Leong Timber is one of the oldest sawmill(since 1987) in Simpang Pertang, Jelebu. We process hardwood by using traditional sawing machine & local workers to maintain our finishing quality.

All logwood is legally & proper selected from our country's very own tropical forest. “Kayu Balau” is a very famous wood species in Malaysia, as it's density as hard as another famous wood - Chengal, it is suitable to use forheavy propose such as from truck base to supporting beam. It can stand for all weather quite well even untreated. Due to no treatment applied to the wood, it is safe to use as Agriculture.

It can be use on simple or complex home renovation, like picture below, this semi-detached house used the Balau wood from our company, the owner choose Balau for roofing structure and Cengal log for support column.

Balau also suitable for staircase and garden fencings, it can stand for out door with just a simple planing and layer of paint. It serve even longer if use indoor like furniture, flooring, and decking.
