Hi guys!

i just bought this game yesterday! im slightly dissapointed by it so far, but like most games under this genre i know not to judge it too quickly, must give it more time.

I've chosen Celine, due to my love for range attack (bows) and magic. However i'm quite dissapoitned in the controls for aiming and shooting bows, i find it quite impossible to move my aim and shoot at the same time! as we have to use the right stick to move the camera while in aim mode and the "A" or "X" button to shoot, which means we have to use the same hand to shoot or move the camera. Any of you experienced players have any advice for this?


The second thing i'm quite dissapointed is the lack of storyline or interaction! since the intro scene i've been going through screens and screens killing (button mashing) mobs and mobs but i have yet to know what the overall sense of direction is. What is the general storyline? I always thought it was like never winter nights where i can go into towns and talk to characters and stuff. So far i can only go to my dream and talk to two characters. Are there any towns and other characters in the game?

So far i ahve one quest which is to go to the cliff where i met curian, but they don't tell me where the cliff is or what i have to do to get there! so i just go screen after screen keep going straight and killilng mobs! i don't know if i'm goign in the right direction also cause there are other regions to go!

BUT i have to admit, i am only level 7 and i've only started the game. So far, i believe the game is still at its "tutorial mode" and letting me get used to the overall game, and i will encounter the quests and grand storyline and other characters in the very near future.
The graphics isn't as bad as other ppl say it is. If the storyline gets interesting besides just "go walk 10 screens" and killing all mobs, then this game is definately quite fun, although i feel like i'm breaking my buttons on my controller! hehe

Anyway definately want to play with you guys! Co-op play is the best! what is the best way to do it? Should i level up higher first? or do you guys have low newbie characters to play with me?

I'm guessing characters of nearly equal level should play together, is this the case?

I read some of u guys play with korean or jap guys, is it laggy? Ok thats all i have to say about the game so far!

This game lag of storyline... but wth... if u play diablo, u will skip the story and focus on collecting stuff

the best part in this game is weapon/armor synthesize.... u must plan 1st to make a good weapon

p/s: wtf... before reaching lvl100 im geting plus/minus 1k points when lvl up....
but when pass lvl100 the point drop.... always geting 6++...4++ points T__T
is the luck point determine ur lvl up point??

dx_treme I noticed you played on normal yesterday and your level was 102 or so. I bet you didn't know that the higher the difficulty, the more points you'll get when you level up.

errr.... i on normal just to complete my ability

i play on extreme but just only receive 6++ points T__T

I thought I knew insane - the guy with 10k attack sword that I mentioned earlier.

Until I met this guy....


How he got that weapon is beyond me.
His gt is JP TAKA.

u know.... at the leaderboard, u can see more than 30 people got "2 ribu juta plus2" ATK..... thats the limit of integer i think....

Can somebody help me grasp the concept of Synthesis?

Rule of thumb, keep your orange and blue potions. Don't synthesize them early in the game! Wait till you get a leet weapon(at least +1000 atk) and armor (+2000 hp) in hard or extreme mode.

Think Lost Odyssey will be better though. At least expect it to be. Since its the "same" developers of the Final Fantasy series.
