I had 3 of these auto fan installed at room due to low ceiling height. (house with kids, afraid they will cut their hand if use ceiling fan)

is there a way to stop it from oscillating and only blow to one direction?

appreciate if any sifu can share your experience.

Thank you.

P.s. there is no pin to stop the oscillating like normal table fan.

thanks, i did tried to remove the bar connection.

however this will lead the fan pointing downward only due to gravity and not pointing to direction i want.

I have no Panasonic fan but some fan will have another hole to screw in to hold in position and not oscillating. Some don't, but I think Panasonic has way to do this.

You have to DIY.

Use a wire to tie the cover towards the direction you want and connect it to a screw on the fan body or ceiling.

If you dont mind the sight of the wire.

yup, i think that's a good idea..
no choice but to hook it some where...

at first thought to dismantle the motor so that i can take out the gear...
seem like too much job and risk damaging it since it was just newly installed.
