Hey guys, i bought a cliptec mouse from Popular Bookstore and found that the mouse is draining a lot of battery!
I change battery every 2 months +. Should i just trash this and get another Logitech one or is this normal?
Only using this for work.


Updated as of 6 Nov: I have bought a Logitech mouse. Hopefully this one will outlast everything!

throw and get logitech, battery last u at least 1 year

Not normal, I'm using a Logitech mouse for work Mon to Fri, I think I only change battery(1 x AA) once a year

Better yet, buy a rechargeable wireless mouse. No need to buy battery.

Yes. Even Logitech h you can choose model that last 1 year or 2 years battery life

If you need to use rechargeable, then buy rechargeable AA battery to use in normal wireless mouse. Not built in type. As you know, the Lithium battery is rated for 500 times charging only.

Use normal battery is better. What if you run out of power, Can you use while charging?

yeah, I will do that. That time i didn't have many choices that's why chose cliptec.

I also have Cliptec. the battery can last much longer. Not 2 months. Anyway it is still better than most at same price. The switch can last much much longer before I need to replace with new tact switch inside.

Previously using "OEM" mouse. Tired of changing the battery. No need to worry about battery anymore since since using Longitech.

just get a cheap logitech mouse will do.. if you are tired of changing the battery, can use a rechargeable battery instead of a disposable AA battery.

Yeap. just ordered a Logitech from shopee.

What battery brand you using? Those cheap one normally can't last long. And it also depend whether you turn off the mouse when not in use.

Energizer, got switch off. but drained twice already. But anyways already ordered the Logitech mouse.

Logitech mice are really durable and reliable.

A plain standard Logitech mouse lasted me 5 years a long time ago.

An entry level gaming Logitech mouse (Rm130+) lasted 6+ years before the rubber parts started to deteriorate, the mouse itself still worked very well.

I've tried other brands of keyboard and mice but I think Logitech is still the best cost to performance ratio.

Yeah Logitech has always been really good.
