Do not consider anything without onsite warranty.
You're using your laptop for studies, that 1 business day onsite repair is really important

ASUS/AORUS(Gigabyte)/MSI and some others does not carry onsite warranty

Only Dell (Alienware), HP, Lenovo & Acer carry onsite warranty
*Illegear doesn't count as they only cover Klang Valley

With Onsite Warranty:
Technician will go to your place to replace the damaged part on the next working day

Without Onsite Warranty:
You have to send your laptop back to the service center and wait between 14 - 30 working days depending on part availability

Usually gaming laptops do not look at the volume of the battery, LOL. I recommend Acer Predator Helios 300

16GB definitely

for storage it depends on your personal usage: dual SSD for 80Wh battery, HDD+SSD for bulk storage

I think you should get something from decent brands with reliable warranty service like the Dell Asus MSI Acer since you're studying and dont really have time to deal with anything that can cause you to not have a working computer

For your budget, an i5 or i7 will do the trick. There's many good brands with good specs such as MSI, ASUS and ACER. Don't go for Lenovo though.

Go asus tuf tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

*Personal Suggestion: go legion, because legion give the best value in Malaysia market. Exp: Acer only provide 45% ntsc, legion provide 72% ntsc. TLDR, still depend on yourself too, maybe you don't like lenovo then just go for your favourite brand.

Have you searched for online platforms such as Shopee or Lazada?

I found one here: https://shopee.com.my/LAPTOP-GAMING-ACER-PR...8879.6962129418

I bought mine on Lazada and they even have interest free instalment. Delivery is pretty fast too. Quite a reliable source to buy thru preferred seller online at these platform.

That's 1k+ more expensive than Legion 5 15 AMD, which has better spec (mostly). Check out the spec below.
