ON sold by Muscle Mania on Shopee or Lazada is the cheapest I've found - RM175. Got it for 150 during the 9.9 sale on LZD.

Ah I understand now. Agree that. That's why I've been checking and found that official store despite a few ringgit expensive but it's the safest pick.

Found that coming 11.11 Lazada will be selling the bag packaging (82 scopes, Rich Double Chocolate) at RM195, and can use another RM5 voucher. Pretty good deal for me, might opt for this one then.

Seriously bro? Did u file a complain against them, or have any reliable data to support this accusation?

I'm not against u, I just need to be aware as well because I'm buying from their shoppe official mart too. If this is true, then it is extremely bad for us in general.

Blood test and daily glucose back normal after i take authorized ON protein. and taste wise less sweet. if u want reliable can spend money goto lab and test protein powder, i rather spend that money on buying from real authorized seller.

Because it long time ago shopee said no refund and seller ignore me . the end for that side.

fyi i bought 5lbs
i realize only shopee mall ON store sell 5.5lbs . iherb GNC even ON official website got no such size. you can check all their site and size they sell.
I believe it rather easy to mix other cheaper ingredients like sugar and chocolate flavouring powder with that packaging replacing the real protein out so they can profit more. the authentic stickers can be peel off easily too and stick to their semi fake sugar choco powder replaced tub and call it authentic.

anyway the price diff with authorized seller is like RM10-20 I would not risk my health to save that. but you be the judge totally up to you.

So you're saying they take the sticker from original tub and stick it on a fake tub? So what they do with the original tub?

What's wrong? Its only whey (which is from milk) and artifical/real sugars with the flavouring (vanilla/chocolate/etc)

Sucralose, aspartame, etc.

If you want protein, get it from meat and eggs.

Yes those are artificial sugars.
Nothing wrong consuming them in small/moderate quantities.

Unless you have some weird allergic reaction to them then u can opt for Whey with Cane Sugar.

I always prefer artificial sugar. 0 calories and don't cause cavities.

Cephalic response, even if the food you consume is zero calories, it can cause the same effect in your body as consuming something with calories.

Artificial sweeteners can cause issues in your gut microbiome.

It might not, but eggs are cheaper and healthier.

Eggs not really cheaper and healthier.
Protein per g from eggs in definitely more expensive than whey, MUCH MORE!

Many people have allergies to eggs, if I eat 2 boiled eggs per day I get bad constipation, just fucks up my digestion.
So both your statement on eggs is false.

Yes artifical sugar can still cause same reaction as real, such as release of insulin. However to me it doesn't matter cause I focus on
0 calories (so you can't gain weigh from it)
Drastically Reduces risk of cavities.

YOU have reaction to eggs, doesn't mean eggs is not healthier, it's just not healthier FOR YOU. It works great for me.

And, if you understood how the human body works, you will know that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get constipation from eggs, because they have no fiber. Most likely, you've fudged up your gut microbiome with all the artificial sweeteners you've been ingesting.

Also, eggs are definitely cheaper. That one container of ON Gold @ RM180 for 70 servings I can buy at least 250 eggs, and if I eat 3 eggs per serving (and I do), that's 83 servings.

If you want to count "protein per gram", then might as well compare it with soy la. super cheap low quality stuff. LOL.

Whey is higher or just as quality as eggs, and higher bioavailability and cheaper/gram of protein than eggs rclxs0.gif .

No my gut microbiome is not fudged from the tiny amount of artificial sweeteners from my 30g whey protein consumption daily.
I just dun react that well to them, like many others in this world.

https://acaai.org/allergies/allergic-conditions/food/egg/

Experts estimate that as many as 2 percent of children are allergic to eggs. Fortunately, studies show that about 70 percent of children with an egg allergy will outgrow the condition by age 16.

So if my maths is right, 0.6% of people are allergic to eggs. That's not "many others". If you want to consume your whey with your artificial sweeteners along with the carbs, go right ahead.

Many people develop issues with eggs later on in life also.
Some maybe start getting rashes suddenly at 40 when eating eggs (do have friends exp this).
Some bodybuilders also same later on in life cannot eat eggs at all.

Wouldn't say I'm allergic, but they do mess with my digestion quite alot.

Do you actually have a real problem with consuming aspartame/sucralose after actually eating it?
Or you read stuff on the internet and develop a aversion to it?

We've been eating animal products for hundreds of thousands of years, our body knows how to handle it.

Aspartame and sucralose have been around only for a few decades. Why do I want to eat it when I have better (and cheaper) alternative?

If they ever invent a whey protein powder that is only whey isolates minus the nasty taste and artificial sweeteners, at a reasonable price, I might consume it.

I can't find any good reason to avoid Whey cause the TINY amount of artificial sugar in it.
If anything it helps me prevent cavities & reduce cals from sugar.
I just see it as food technology.
Like how my blood pressure medicine protects my heart.

Whey has always been a cheap source of highest quality complete protein.
Currently with Ringgit slide/inflation its still on par with price as eggs.
So its "moderate" in price now.

Only weakness of whey is it lacks vitamins/cholestrol that's present in meat.

Margarine and canola oil are also food technology. You won't see me getting near those poisons.
