QUOTE(MAGAMan-X @ Sep 29 2022, 09:32 PM) Yes those are artificial sugars. Nothing wrong consuming them in small/moderate quantities. Unless you have some weird allergic reaction to them then u can opt for Whey with Cane Sugar. I always prefer artificial sugar. 0 calories and don't cause cavities. |

Artificial sweeteners can cause issues in your gut microbiome. https://www.sciencefocus.com/news/artificia...into-pathogens/ It might not, but eggs are cheaper and healthier. |

Protein per g from eggs in definitely more expensive than whey, MUCH MORE! Many people have allergies to eggs, if I eat 2 boiled eggs per day I get bad constipation, just fucks up my digestion. So both your statement on eggs is false. Yes artifical sugar can still cause same reaction as real, such as release of insulin. However to me it doesn't matter cause I focus on 0 calories (so you can't gain weigh from it) Drastically Reduces risk of cavities. |

And, if you understood how the human body works, you will know that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get constipation from eggs, because they have no fiber. Most likely, you've fudged up your gut microbiome with all the artificial sweeteners you've been ingesting. Also, eggs are definitely cheaper. That one container of ON Gold @ RM180 for 70 servings I can buy at least 250 eggs, and if I eat 3 eggs per serving (and I do), that's 83 servings. If you want to count "protein per gram", then might as well compare it with soy la. super cheap low quality stuff. LOL. |

Whey is higher or just as quality as eggs, and higher bioavailability and cheaper/gram of protein than eggs No my gut microbiome is not fudged from the tiny amount of artificial sweeteners from my 30g whey protein consumption daily. I just dun react that well to them, like many others in this world. |

Fortunately, studies show that about 70 percent of children with an egg allergy will outgrow the condition by age 16. So if my maths is right, 0.6% of people are allergic to eggs. That's not "many others". If you want to consume your whey with your artificial sweeteners along with the carbs, go right ahead. |

Some maybe start getting rashes suddenly at 40 when eating eggs (do have friends exp this). Some bodybuilders also same later on in life cannot eat eggs at all. Wouldn't say I'm allergic, but they do mess with my digestion quite alot. Do you actually have a real problem with consuming aspartame/sucralose after actually eating it? Or you read stuff on the internet and develop a aversion to it? |

Aspartame and sucralose have been around only for a few decades. Why do I want to eat it when I have better (and cheaper) alternative? If they ever invent a whey protein powder that is only whey isolates minus the nasty taste and artificial sweeteners, at a reasonable price, I might consume it. |

I can't find any good reason to avoid Whey cause the TINY amount of artificial sugar in it. Aspartame and sucralose have been around only for a few decades. If anything it helps me prevent cavities & reduce cals from sugar. I just see it as food technology. Like how my blood pressure medicine protects my heart. Whey has always been a cheap source of highest quality complete protein. Currently with Ringgit slide/inflation its still on par with price as eggs. So its "moderate" in price now. Only weakness of whey is it lacks vitamins/cholestrol that's present in meat. |
