hi forumers, i do have bad sector on my WD caviar black 1Tb come with 5 yrs limited warranty (now past 1 yrs plus). i bought it from PC depot and they said they only cover for 1 yr warranty and the rest of 4 yrs will be handle by end user.
if above statement is correct, how i'm going to claim from WD and any additional cost i have to bear myself? do they need to verify my hardware and where/how should i subject the part to them? pls educate as i'm new in this area, thx a lot!! :-(
