Hi guys, I have a 6th gen Ipad. Before I sleep yesterday it was at 20% battery. So I charge it overnight. Today when I wake up. The iPad is turned off, there is some warmness from the back.

Tried holding the power on button and home button for 1 minute, no response. Did the same again with plugging it in, same as well no response. Hooked the iPad to my laptop, no notification from laptop as well. I do not have iTunes installed thou. The previous laptop kelong. So could not test it with a pc with iTunes.

So I'm not sure is it a display problem, or a software problem. Any other ways to try to start my iPad?

I rmb the day before this happened once. I hold the power button for a few seconds, then it got turned on. Oh ya. I using the default original charger and cable as well.

Tried installing iTunes on another laptop, connected my iPad to it, and tried again to do start up and force restart. Still not able to be detected by iTunes.

Charging it now. Almost 30 minutes, no icon came up.

No sound or anything at all.

But I do notice the right side of my iPad feels a bit warm.

Confirm battery issue? How much would it cost if I send it to Mac City?

Still under warranty...? If not, I don't think Mac City can fix it for you... AASP usually don't fix iPads out of warranty. You might wanna send in to 3rd party repair shops like i2Fix, they specialised on repairing iDevices...

No longer under warranty. Thanks bro for the recommendation. Dropped them a msg on the symptoms already. Let's see how much will it cost to fix it.

I really need to use it as my personal laptop kelong dah. Don't wanna use company laptop for personal reason. 🤦🏻

Oh my gosh I just faced an exactly 100% same issue as you. Repair shop just informed it's electronic board issue, was yours the same? I got charge rm 380 *cries*

How much was your damage if you've repaired it?

*This is my first ever Apple product and they totally let me down! Worst is I've only use this tablet occasionally for work, like full battery can last a month kind.

I didn't repair it. Sold it to someone that buys spoiled Ipad. I'm now using a Chromebook for my entertainment haha
