I was wondering if there are any teachers who have applied for EGtukar and waiting for results?

I have been applying for 5 years now to transfer from Selangor to Terengganu but to no avail. I am hoping this December would be a positive outcome. Have anyone had a successful EGtukar? I would be so grateful if you can share some tips on how to apply successfully.

I am currently single and the only reason I can use is to take care of my family. My parents are very ill and every month I feel like I am losing precious time. I really need to be with my parents. Most teachers that I know successfully transferred if they are married, have kids, etc.

Also, how about the method of 'Suka Sama Suka' (both teachers independently agree to exchange schools)? Have anyone tried this before? Is there any forum where I can request for any teachers who are willing to exchange school with me?

According to KPM, the selection is based on vacancy rather than years of service. And every year, teachers applying to leave Selangor and KL are the highest and teachers applying to enter Terengganu and Kelantan are highest.

The usual reason KPM would consider is (1) Vacancy, (2) Marital, family status, (3) Health reasons, (4) Threat to safety (ancaman keselamatan)

If anyone can share their experience of applying for transfer would be much appreciated.

Can you bring your parents to kl while waiting for the transfer approval ? Medical and drs facilities have more option.

Interesting to know there are more teachers wanting to go tr and kel instead of selangor.

Well...among my friends did say that if you have any issues, e.g being harassed, etc. easy to change school, but this is in Sabah la. Main thing is that if you have real solid excuse for tukar it's easy to get the kelulusan.

My wife is also trying to transfer from labuan back to sabah.

I know a story from a friend of mine where his friend staged a break in in his house and say he is afraid of his life. But this is 10 years ago.
