Hi everybody. i have an iMac and planning to upgrade my 512mb ram to 2GB ram. I would like to know is mac ram same as those normal pc ram?
How much does 2GB ram cost ?
How to install?

iMac ram same as normal ram.Just check ur iMac, DDR or DDR2.Price can refer to LYN pricelist.
If u never diy i suggest bring it to computer shop.  |

iMac RAM runs on laptop RAMs, not PC RAMs. I'm quite sure - to install, take it back to shop to install  |

just for some info, intel imac is using laptop platform, or should i say all intel machines are using laptop platform except Mac Pro which doesn't not use desktop platform but using server platform
