Good tutorial, nice insight.
However, I really don't suggest this to anyone. First it voids ur warranty. Second the performance increase doesn't worth the risk. 93 C is way too hot and risky. Unless the performance increase seems to worth it, then F it do it. But then it doesn't. Too bad.

QUOTE(Darkmage12 @ Aug 17 2007, 11:32 PM) do you overclock ur Alienware? I wont. It doesnt worth the risk. If I got caught, then they wont pay a cent for anything, then I'll be f'cked. SLi is more than enough for now, eddy230379 got it right. I will tho, after the warranty expired.

Darkmage12, read more about that here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=12044397Read everything and understand it. All in all, it's expensive but u get what u paid. U can say it's a bias comment but I am prepared for that. Read and click on my quote siggy, that's comment from notebookreview. The model which made by Arima, is only available at Alienware. So do the math. Good luck with your opting. Back to the topic, some few friends did OC their alienware, result in from 9xxx-ish 3dmark05 (stock) up to 11xxx-ish (OCed). Thinking back the heat produced, I have to "pass" that. This post has been edited by derred: Aug 19 2007, 03:07 AM
