Hi guys,
I'd like to ask a few things about hot shower and cold shower.
Let's say, after rigorous workout and to reduce sore, you would prefer to go for hot or cold shower?
The thing is, I've always thought cold treatment/icing/ cold bath is good to reduce the sore feelings, but lately I was told to try hot/warm bath to make body feel better.
Any thought on this? Mind to share how you cope with sore and DOMS? By alternate hot-cold-hot-cold bath in one shower session?

if cold means like 16c cold then the body would focus on heating the internal organs, so less blood will be in the limbs. i don't know how that would affect development of your muscles/workout.
warm shower as in what we are used to should keep the blood normal lo.
i think if not jumping into ice water there would be no difference

From my experience some yoga stretches before and after a work out have more effective than a hot or cold shower.

After doing heavy work, I like the hot shower. Just the normal tap water temp won't give any effect to me. If need cold treatment, I just put ice pack at affected area.
