I am going to give a short pre review of the proton X50 since i cannot test drive it yet. Of the things I dont like about it since the rest of the goods you can read it everywhere else.

1. To me its major. You are gonna rub your leg calf muscles when you get in and out of the car. And its painfulllllll because the first time I didnt notice it. You have to gentle get in and out of the seat, it will still be rubbing your muscles no matter how you position your leg because the space between the seat and the ground is far. Im 181cm btw, good luck to shorties lol.

Attached Image

2. The door handle felt a bit fragile. Its plastic and its thin. I am quite sure one day these handle will break under our hot sun. I took the inner of the handle for you to see how thin the plastic actually is.

Yes the design is a bit sharp. The front has dual sharp edge somemore.

I should have take a lower angle picture haha

Front and rear seating position has lots of legroom! no problem at all for this. It is quite spacious.

The right way to exit is to spin 90 degrees and move both legs to the side then jump forward a bit.

I doubt it...but maybe and hopefully there is?
I was curious and thought maybe I needed to do a 2 step up like in a lorry. Nope, no such thing. Your leg muscle memang will rub the edge. Just be gentle to minimize the force of rubbing so it wont be painful.

Manatau sekali they tell you that you have to actually jump out of the vehicle. LOL

Strange so all the testing and more testing which took a total of 18 months and nobody detected this ? Hmmm

Try already, unless in really awkward position and I literally almost jump in or out, my muscles will rub the edge.

I tried HRV no problem. Or maybe the edge is smooth enough that make me missed it? If that is the case then it is good.

He estimated an increase from 2k to 3k. However he said most probably this tax holiday will have an extension by the government.
I told him I will give him booking now if he can guarantee I will get it with the tax holiday. He can't, so he is honest at least haha.

I think it is the edge design problem being a bit pointy/sharp? If the edge has a fatter curve, it won't be a problem.

Went to test X50 today as well. Those who say no vibration is lying laugh.gif

I can feel it even when it’s new, imagine after 80K and the engine mount is starting to deteriorate.

It’s certainly not as bad as a Bezza but you’ll feel it at certain RPM.

Start from the toes slowly up onto your inner thigh, tickle there a bit.... And then I'll go higher.

It was idling fine but the vibration can be felt even when revving around the 1K-1.2K RPM range.

Try placing a bottle of water on top of that engine and rev it. The vibration is very significant on the engine but not much is transferred to the cabin.

But, think about few years down the road when the mountings deteriorated.
