Did some mod to my Q-steer and would like the share...

If you have some old spoilt Bit Char-G lying around, you can try using the gears and motors from them in your Q-Steer.

The full details on my blog here: http://www.weikiat.net/blog/2008/12/13/wei...peedmotor-mods/

Hope mod don't mind as it is quite tedious to repost all the vids pic over here from my blog.
No ads on my blog so shouldn't be a problem.

IMO Bit Char-G motors use too much power, and slows down even when the same battery can be use to power the regular q-steer motor at max speed.

I've settled on using the bit charg's gears (i think its same gear ration as the q-steer "high speed" gears for both my q-steers and using the blue cap motor from my spoilt Hornet.
