This is pinoy coolray service table, it uses 5.6L of engine oil and service interval is every 7.5k KM, malaysia x50 only use 5L of oil and change at 10k km
X50 official service pricing
Also made this video discussing other related maintenance for the X50 such as Batteries, tyres, timing belt, carbon cleaning and touched on other parts such as cost to replace the full led headlight and taillights, 7 DCT gearbox components, turbocharger, sensors, abs pumps and others as well. (at around 10 minute mark of the video)

Need to check if malaysia x50 change to 10k or not
5.6L of FS for 7.5k km? They must be expecting very extreme driving conditions. Probably full time Manila or Makati peak hour where short distance can take hours
tgdi using 5.6l? is the sump really that big eh? i guess its normal tho for high performance engine to store more oil. iinm conti cars also use more than 4 liter of eo right

Peug and VW 1.6/1.8T use around 4.7L jer. Usually its the BMW and Merc using alot of oil
U can change ur engine oil 5k km, 7.5k km, or 10k km up to u if u using good full syn engine oil, but.....does oil filter last til 10k? Long ago it is recommended oil filter be change every 5k km. Unless u using high quality oil filter, but in our market mostly just a normally good filter.
See wats inside oil filter.

i guess its normal then, cos 1.6 na just need 3.8l of engine oil. turbocharge is another level no wonder my pomen recommended to use oil sump extender for 4g93t. to store 6 liters of eo. maybe better for heat dissipation

is there a way to change filter only without change oil? if every 5k interval change then might as well use semi syn oil? dun nid fully syn since its a waste only?

The only way is... Step 1, drain out engine oil, Step 2, replace new oil filter, Step 3, fill in back the used engine oil in Step 1 just now.

Get mobil 1 extended performance - 20k miles = 32k km
hmm... 90k service DCT oil while the capacity just 4L? My ford with wet clutch has a capacity of 6L with factory recommended interval @ every 60k, but for me i do it every 40k km.
Check back, for X50 only need 5 litres. Not sure how they did it
difference of 0.6litre is quite a lot.
My main concern is the transmission oil, even some of my friend who own VW/Audi tend to change their transmission oil at 30k (Half of 60k which recommend by SC)

Not necessarily, I like old can type since the antidrain valve is inside the filter unlike those type, plus the enclosing is plastic.

My wet clutch already served me over 200k km and never a prob, i change the fluid at every 40k instead of 60k, does that help, i say probably it did.
Well... depends on the design, on some toyota it will need a special tool to open it... so if your outside mechanic don't have the special tool to open it and find something to whack it to open high chance it will cause damage, if damage then you are talking bout changing the whole housing. If like mercedes which is on the top and don't need special tool to open while the housing is made of metal, that means easier to swap out the oil filter, meaning that you can even do it at home if your maintenance regime calls for changing the filter in between oil change interval, cause it won't spill cause it is on top when you take out the filter. The one on my Ford is also on top, don't need special tool to open, but the housing is plastic, i m pretty sure if open too many time will broke the plastic housing someday.
Update: Proton has made the price of timing belt available on their website
Also, I made a video discussing about the maintenance of the x50 and other major costs that you will need to know if you are out of warranty such as the turbocharger, 7dct gearbox components, carbon buildup, led headlights and taillights, all sorts of sensors and pump and etc2.

Just the belt? tensioner/idler pulley/water pump no need issit?
GG, and they played with the maintenance schedule by placing the timing belt at 120k km rather than 100k to lower the perceived costs
the truth is I think need to change just like what u said to they just want lower the perceived costs.
just like preve and other proton cars, upon reach 100k km after timing belt change mostly will need to change the water pump and tensioner bearing, cos this two parts is wear and tear parts. some waterpump can holds up to 200k km. but some only lol.

Replacing the water pump in which the pump itself isnt that expensive will be better as it'll be done while the timing belt is off. if die half way, overheating GG need to resurface head sumore

You cannot use a LHD headlamp on a RHD car. FYI.
Also must remember no thanks to that DAPrick idiot any car part you buy from Taobao, if it cost more than RM500 you will need to pay Import Duty of 30% + SST on CIF value.
That lower arm cost even more than one for a Peugeot 3008 direct from Naza.
