OneDrive.

If u gonna pay for Office which the majority will need, worth it. At RM 28 monthly with 1TB space and Office license for 5 PCs.

Google Drive not worth it. The stupid desktop all kept crashing on both Mac and PC.

Dropbox best for the enterprise but a bit expensive for home users.

iCloud is pure rubbish. It ties u down to iOS.

Is it cheaper? You can scale the storage and pay more later as you use?

If you’re on Apple ecosystem.
iCloud wins due to just how seamless it is between Mac. iPad. iPhone.

If you’re on android, google photos.

But I typically prefer Dropbox.
Faster upload/download. And I don’t encounter corrupted downloads like with google drive (>10gb videos).

One drive/ teams is pretty good too on windows.
Won’t like their online version of excel though.
Lags when the excel is complicated.

Thanks

I heard very good review on One drive.

Another question, is our data safe with microsoft? I know it's frivolous to think that our data won't be scanned by those cloud servers for information.

Microsoft has the best track record on privacy and security compared to the others. Google for sure will milk any data you have.

Nothing is safe as long it is on the Internet. U can however encrypt your files before dumping to OneDrive first. More secure.

own both OneDrive 1TB & Google Drive 100GB

Before OneDrive upgrade... it was slow and always face sync error... So mainly use GDrive most of the time...

re-visit OneDrive 1TB last year and never look back... migrated 70% of my data to One Drive and keep GDrive for work purpose...

both sync rate is equally good now...

With Apple One RM19.90 for 50GB iCloud, apple music, apple tv+, and apple arcade, it's a clear choice if you use an iphone.

Google and Microsoft don't even have anything near that offers. 🤭

But OneDrive is 1TB storage for family plan, price is much cheaper than apple family plan, can get the plan for RM179 at shopee legit license.

Apple one family plan about double that price but with 200GB storage only.

True, but if you want large storage for cheap, there is an option.

Unlimited google drive for business 10USD/month, but you need to have 1 domain name.

Switched from Dropbox to OneDrive due to pricing. Both support camera uploads on Android/iOS. In terms of app stability and functionality Dropbox wins hands down. IMHO if you don’t need 2TB storage OneDrive is the better option since it comes bundled with Office 365.

I’m on Apple’s ecosystem but I find iCloud is a pain. Yes the photo sync is good, but space is limited and pricing isn’t as competitive as the other options.

I tend to agree with you. I am trying AppleOne. Spotify wins in terms of user interface and ease of use.

and iCloud isn't easy to use. Everything is done in the background, and I have no idea what has been uploaded/backup.

Onedrive looks very integrated into PC.

I have more faith in microsoft+ Apple than Google in terms of user data protection and privacy.

One is paid service , the other is free service.
