Recently affected by the pandemic hence need to move to a smaller condo.

Saw a decent unit but went through a property agency; the funny thing was, the agent said the rental must be paid to them instead of the landlord direct.

My previous arrangement, after signing the tenancy agreement and paid the 2 months rental deposit, the subsequent rental was paid to landlord.

Is this agency trustworthy (not to mention any names here) reliable?

The agency's rationale, they act on behalf of both landlord & tenant in case of any dispute..?

Thanks bro. just that the agent insist to have the rental banked into the company first instead of the landlord despit the tenancy is being stated so.
