We use tasting spoons, taste once then discard for wash. Use new one to taste again. If sometimes need a quick re taste, maybe use the spoon handle end.Yes Kitchen staff use barehand.

First time I heard of ppl using finger to dip and taste. Then re dip again same finger to taste.
Not everything also use finger to poke la.
