I'm using Smartcomgps N95 version ( can use internal N95 GPS and can

do track recording) but did not found any good maps for malaysia.

Already try at malsingmaps but the maps posted by someone there is

not good ( blurry when zoom in )

Do anybody here have link to better OGF2 maps for malaysia?

Btw, I tried to install an application/theme and it says certificate is invalid. Anyone knows how I can bypass the cert checking or its meant to be there irregardless?
*
If the error stated 'certification is expired' or something like that :

- try to set ur phone date back to 6 or 9 month before and try to install it again.

If the error 'certification constraint error' or something like that :

- then this apps/games/theme need to be resign using ur own cer files.
more info about signing procedure here : http://www.gosymbian.com/ forum/viewtopic.php?t=757

The Map King software is cool very fast compare to normal lucky there's a method to bypass the 3 days trial
*
Sorry if this has been posted before, here is how to bypass 3 days trial on MAPKING2007. After 3 days apps will expired do this :

{Delete the only file in 'system' folder in ur card, it should have number such as 124XXXXXX or something. Numbers are random I think so there's no way u can do that.
To be sure, check the file u want to delete first by opening it with notepad, it will have the installed map name together with the date installed.
Delete it. Don't worry, the app will generate a new one for you with a new date, therefore, the days will be back to 3 days again.}

Just found this trick on other site that i wanna share :

By default the wifi in the N95 is set to use 100mW.

fix this by going into tools / settings / connection / wireless lan / options / advanced settings ..
it'll give you a warning - ignore it.
go down to tx power change to 10mW .. ample for most situations!

enjoy longer battery life!

It has the same coverage as using 100mW, just less the power used.

U can try it, if not satisfied just change back the value to 100mW.

The moment that we hv wait is here.. NEW FIRMWARE FOR N95 V20.0.015.

Taken from AAS
Changes in the new firmware
New Welcome application

New camera software and tweaks from the 8GB model - FAR faster shot to shot time, with 'Processing image message' during any delays

Long press on camera button launches camera if shutter is open

New My Nokia SMS tips and mobile web portal system

Demand paging (for ROM applications) with 30 plus MB free RAM after booting.

Search 4.0 integration on standby screen.

Old multimedia menu still there, i.e. it's not the new style

N-Gage game previews (FIFA, Asphalt) and portal/shortcut to upcoming N-Gage client, as in N81 and N95 8GB

Nokia Music Store client, although the store server hasn't been updated to handle the N95 yet - maybe this'll happen later today

Keypress bug gone(!), I think

here is what is posted @ nokia about the changes

This software version includes battery, stability & performance improvements enabling you to run faster and longer - giving you up to three more hours of music (up to 30% increase, from 9h to 12h of music playback). This release also includes a new version of Nokia Maps which provides faster positioning, faster Map Loader, and free 3-day navigation. Free N-Gage demo games are included and other games are available via Download! With the Nokia Music Store now live in the United Kingdom, users can enjoy the convenience of instant over-the-air downloads, regardless of where they are.

I'm updating now... smile.gif Lots of improvement and my N95 will be more powerfull...hehehe
Really great news for N95 user..
