Nope rolleyes.gif Navigation function on Nokia Maps is a premium feature that must be purchased.

So basically what I can do is just look at the maps like how I read maps from the book?

Will the GPS teach me how to get from one place to another without paying anything?

Sigh, getting fed up with the N95.

I called Maxis and they sent me my 3G settings which I saved.

When I try surfing the net, it says "Packet Data: Connection not allowed"

When I open the Maps, it didn't ask me if I want to use internet connection like how it's supposed to, instead it comes out "No Internet connection. Please check your Network settings."

But my signal bar has this 3G word under it...

HOW?! sad.gif

I can't surf net, I can't use GPS, and I don't know what is wrong with my settings! sad.gif

Help me please.

Sigh.

I'm in big trouble, here's what happened.

1) Called Maxis to send me my 3G settings.

2) Settings received. Happy.

3) Tried surfing the web, got error message which read "Packet Date: Connection not allowed" or something along that line.

4) Fiddled and fiddled with settings. Found on the net that the source of problem is the "APN Control" option under the "Connection" settings. The connection restrictions were activated so I had to deactivate it.

5) Clicked on deactivate connection restrictions, was prompted for PIN2 code.

6) Tried once, twice, thrice. BANG! PIN2 code rejected!

7) Asked for PUK code instead. Called Maxis and got my PUK code.

8) After entering the PUK code, the phone asked me to set a new PIN2 code. Kept trying and trying but it kept saying "CODE ERROR" everytime I enter 4 digits.

9) After a couple of tries, I wasn't prompted to enter neither the PUK nor the PIN2 code anymore.

10) Tried deactivating the APN Control, no response at all. Everytime I click on the deactivate tab, nothing happens, connections still restricted. Still not web-surfing for me.

11) PIN2 still blocked.

What should I do? Anyone know the solution?

If not I'll drop by Maxis to change a new sim card sad.gif

Thanks.

I just realised that there's a barcode printed behind the headset of the N95 smile.gif

Here's a story on how I utilise my N95.

I was sitting at Dome cafe the other day, my girl was busy reading her magazine so I decided to go on the net via WiFi with my N95. I logged on to check a couple of mails from my Gmail account and my office emails.

Received an email from boss and I had to send something out urgently. I opened my Office Suite application and did a little writing (I'm working as a writer) and sent the file to my colleague via the email in my N95.

I then went online to check on lowyat.net and some other websites to keep myself entertained whilst waiting for her to finish her meal. Then I remembered Liverpool played a match the night before and I didn't know the score, so I used the Vivio Live TV to stream CNN channel and watched the highlights of the match, for free (Liverpool drew anyway sad.gif).

Then my WorldMate Pro application just popped up and the Weather Forecast girl reminded me that there will be thunderstorms on that day, so I rushed my girl to finish her food to avoid walking to the car under the rain. I continued playing some games whilst chatting with my friends on Windows Live Messenger to pass time. I also took a couple of pictures and uploaded it into my Flickr, which I already deleted as I don't like showing people around me to the public smile.gif

When I left Dome, true enough it was starting to rain. On that night, we were supposed to go to this secluded place in Damansara Heights for dinner, and thankfully I had the GPS on my N95 and I managed to find the place in no time at all, for free!
