QUOTE(VpowerZone @ Dec 9 2007, 04:29 PM)
I have downloaded and installed Garmin XT,Support files and World Basemap, it support my internal GPS. Then i put gmapsupp.img in the garmin folder, now i have the basemap and gmapsupp in the folder, is it correct?next time if i wantto update the map just replace the gmapsupp? And how do i search for a place?whenever i go to spell state or spell name to key in, it always returned me not found. cry.gif  Anyone hav a simple user guide to teach me how to use it? eg, how to search, plan route, detect where am i..
Appreciate your help..thanks  smile.gif
*
to detect where you are just go to view map
make sure ur gps is connected

to search place go to food, entertainment, etc under 'where to'

do not use spell state or addresses.

the free version of m'sia & s'pore malsing map that we can get currently is June, 2007 version (quite outdated)
so still the same question, anyone got the unlock key for it? mind to PM me? notworthy.gif
*
even if we have it, it would be unwise and useless to share it.

the key is fixed to your unit id.
even if i give you mine, you wouldnt be able to use it.

the sound is annoying , hehe .... drive above the speed limit it will ding ding ... ding ding...like mad ....but thats for nuvi , should be same like mobile though ..
*
for mobile the sound will go ding ding when the gps is moving closer towards the speed cam. Once you pass the cam, it will stop.

Even if you go above the limit, there is no continuous ding ding.

It is the same. After restoring your old backup in the V20 firmware n95, your new menu will be restored to the old style. If you wanna use the new style, download and install the New menu structure apps.

It is quite subjective to consider it to be the best but I am rather certain that it is among the best.

That menu is not correct.

I couldnt see APN option too for firmware 1xxx and 2xxx.

Can't remember exactly...... After 'connection', choose the type of connection you are using for wifi eg. maxis 3g, maxis gprs, etc.. Then under each, look for menu option which abbreviates to APN eg. Access point network, blank its setting out. Tat's it
*
can't find any thing to do with APN.
sad.gif
i tried reinstalling v20 but still there is no APN control.
sigh
